Skills for Healers, Clergy & Teachers

description:

This course is primarily about boundaries and containers, and how to use these tools to create healing spaces and teachable moments. We will review the importance of having strong, flexible outer and inner boundaries, and how to use these boundaries to create an appropriate level of intimacy with our students, clients and patients.

We will discuss techniques to create various kinds of containers, including magical, healing and transformative. And we will also discuss topics such as ethics, privacy and discretion. And finally we will open the discussion up so that participants can share problems and concerns and get feedback and advice from the collective wisdom of all who have gathered.

This course is designed for people who have already made a commitment in their lives to the healing arts, the ministerial and priest/ess path, or teaching as a profession.

description:

The world is changing. It is undergoing tremendous change, upheaval, growth, chaos, evolution and decay. It is a time of transformation. How does one cope during times like these? How do we make the time, find the space and achieve the focus so needed when the very ground we stand on seems to shift daily?

In this workshop, we will discuss practices that can be used toward building a healing and transformative practice.

Four Archetypes of Spiritual Vocation

description:

The mystery tradition of Katrina Messenger is based on four elemental archetypes, each representing a spiritual path or vocation.

  • The Artist represents the element of air.
  • The Warrior represents the element of fire.
  • The Healer represents the element of water.
  • The Steward represents the element of earth.

Katrina's tradtion and school invoke these elemental archetypes to assist in discovering the work of the vision keepers, edge-walkers, soul retrievers and seed savers within the incoming age.

This workshop includes a light meditation into each archetype.

Tools of the Warrior

description:

Awareness, Power, Presence, Compassion, & Intent

What does it mean to walk the path of a warrior? A warrior is one who shows up, stands on the edge of a blade and does what must be done. A warrior is one who is willing to walk the noble paths of compassion and intention. A warrior is not foolhardy, emotionless or cruel; she is grounded, present and aware. Grounded within the reality of her environment, present in the here and now, and aware of her perspective and limits. With an acceptance of the possible consequences, she acts.

This workshop will focus on the warrior as personified within Katrina Messenger’s fourfold path of artist, warrior, healer and steward.
