Introduction to the Runes
In Norse mythology, the runes were a gift from Odin, who discovered them after a nine-day ordeal handing from the World Tree Yggdrasil.
In this workshop we will explore the Elder Futhark, the most commonly used system of today. We will look at the history of the Runes and their traditional associations and uses. We will focus mainly on using the Runes as a magickal alphabet, how to take advantage of the universal patterns of energies that lay behind these simple symbols. We will learn to write, combine, and chant these ancient letters to bring about both practical and spiritual change and manifestation.
