This two-day course introduces the foundations of the four ancient elements of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth and offers a deep understanding of working with them. We will explore their correspondences, selected skills, tools, and lore.
The classes are primarily hands-on with a brief lecture on the elemental correspondences, followed by exercises working with each element and its energy in depth to build your experience and skill. We will then create and perform a single ritual to integrate this elemental work into your spiritual and magical journey.
Temple service days are days of celebration, work, prayer, food, and fellowship.
We usually work on projects such as decorating the temple, labyrinth repair, or herb planting.
Reflections students and alumni, OEM initiates, Connect DC regulars and the general public are encouraged to join in with the fun.
Join us for a weekend devoted to the skills and tools of Air. The Air weekend is designed to explore the mystery hidden within the adage, “All Space is Here; All Time is Now.”
We explore what is here and when is now by examining our blind spots, hidden scripts and attentive states. We train ourselves to enter the here and now and practice these skills in real life situations.
We enter into liminal spaces and ask ourselves if we truly are willing to be present with reality. Do we really want to see what is hidden in plain sight? Do we really want to see past our stories, projections and fears?
And finally we review the science of space and time and its esoteric consequences. All in all we refine our senses and sharpen our skills of observation, awareness and attention.
This course is for full-time Reflections students only.
