Advanced Healing Skills

description:

A healer is one who removes obstacles to healthy flow. This can be the flow of life force, the flow of the Qi, the flow of blood, the flow of cranial-sacral fluid or the flow of communication. All flows are like water; they are only healthy if it is moving.

Building upon the foundational tools of boundaries and containers, this class focuses on advanced skills such as healing presence, listening/observation skills, and inner practices. We will use various metaphors for flow including movement, energy sensing, and meditation.

Elemental Mysteries

description:

This two-day course introduces the foundations of the four ancient elements of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth and offers a deep understanding of working with them. We will explore their correspondences, selected skills, tools, and lore.

The classes are primarily hands-on with a brief lecture on the elemental correspondences, followed by exercises working with each element and its energy in depth to build your experience and skill. We will then create and perform a single ritual to integrate this elemental work into your spiritual and magical journey.

Four Archetypes of Spiritual Vocation

description:

The mystery tradition of Katrina Messenger is based on four elemental archetypes, each representing a spiritual path or vocation.

  • The Artist represents the element of air.
  • The Warrior represents the element of fire.
  • The Healer represents the element of water.
  • The Steward represents the element of earth.

Katrina's tradtion and school invoke these elemental archetypes to assist in discovering the work of the vision keepers, edge-walkers, soul retrievers and seed savers within the incoming age.

This workshop includes a light meditation into each archetype.

Language of Magick

description:

In this 3-week course, we will dip into the common, underlying language of the "n-fold" mysteries -- mysteries of unity, duality, threefold and fourfold paths, as well as the power behind fives, sevens, and tens. In many Wiccan and Pagan traditions, these numbers are important foundations to the work we do and the magick we create.

Each mystery will be explored via several systems (such as the sevens in chakras, the elder planets, and alchemy) if possible to illustrate the way the core mystery expresses itself in multiple ways.

Language of Magick: Tarot

description:

We will delve into the symbolic imagery of the classic Tarot deck.

What does it mean when one reads the Tarot? What are we reading and how does it compare to other instruments of divination like the Runes or the I Ching?

What are we to make of the diversity of human experience inherent within the Major Arcana? How do we discern the various initiatory journeys symbolized in the Minor Arcana?

Join us for a six week exploration of the language of magick within the Tarot.
