Programs

Reflections offers two year-long paths; a non-degree path focused on personal transformation, and a degree path that can lead to an initiation into the underlying mystery tradition.

We also offer a selection of public classes and workshops.

Path of Personal Transformation

The Personal Transformation or non-degree path is designed for intermediate to advanced practitioners who seek more structure and balance within their practice. It provides advanced training, mentorship and community for those who seek a spiritual vocation.

Students on a non-degree path are required to attend three rituals a year including the orientation ritual for new and returning students.

All other classes and workshops are optional. Additional requirements for non-degree path are listed within General Requirements.

Degree Path

The Degree Path is designed for intermediate to advanced practitioners who seek more structure and balance within their practice. It provides advanced training, mentorship and community for those who seek a spiritual vocation.

Degree students are required to attend two rituals and a sequestered weekend annually. Degree students are also required to attend all four elemental weekends plus the vocation weekend within four years.

Class requirements for degree students are listed in Table 1.

Additional requirements for degree students are listed within General Requirements.

Class Credits

Weekends and intermediate/advanced classes and workshops count as two credits, while introductory classes count as one credit. A degree candidate requires 18 credits to be considered for a first degree initiation. A second-degree requires an additional 12 credits to be considered. Each degree is designed to be completed within two to three years.

Schedule

Reflections’ school year begins January 1st, and concludes December 15th. The school is closed during the month of August. There are five rituals, three sequestered two-day weekends, and six or more public classes or workshops offered each year.

School Life

Office Hours

Katrina Messenger maintains school office hours on most Tuesdays (or Wednesdays) during the school year; degree level students are encouraged to schedule appointments. Open appointment slots are announced on the school bulletin board. From time to time, the elemental groups may be invited to meet with Katrina Messenger; students are expected to make an effort to attend.

Mystery school students are encouraged to consider Katrina Messenger as a clergy resource for family emergencies, rites of passage and short-term spiritual counseling. Katrina maintains a separate spiritual counseling and coaching practice with hourly rates. Katrina does not offer psychological or pastoral counseling, as she is not licensed, nor qualified to offer such services.

School Portal & Bulletin Board

At acceptance, students will receive a user name and password to access the school portal and bulletin board. Mystery school students must register for all school events via the school portal or they will be charged the public rate. Additionally the portal can be used to view account status, make payments, access transcripts, update one’s student profile, and access school resources such as the bulletin board and school directory.

Payment Plans

Mystery school students can set up payment plans for annual and class/workshop fees. The minimum amounts required to hold a class slot are as follows; $25 for one day classes and $50 to $75 for two day classes and weekend workshops. Simply print out and fill in a payment plan form that is available within the school portal resource area.
